What do old brick roads and bikers have in common?

Updated: Jan 7, 2023

Over all my weekend was pretty uneventful. I supervised my Dad with updating my website, took some naps and a few long walks. My Dad was getting a little frustrated with building my site so I told him we need to get out for a bit and wow did we get out.

Last night we went to our favorite spot. Our beach, which is Flagler Beach. What my Dad didn't tell me was that it was the 29th Annual Biketoberfest. Man do I love motorcycles and the sounds they make. All the main activities take place in Daytona Beach and Ormond Beach. My Dad was a little tired so we just stayed along our little area. It was still really cool walking looking at all the bikes and people. We stayed long enough at the beach to see the Sunset. Wow was it beautiful!

Of course as we were walking and people wanted to say hi to me and pet me. Which by the way I love sooo much! I (we) told people about the TV series 'Unfinished Business' that I am going to co-star in and the cameo appearance I am going to have in the mini-series 'Backseat to Justice'. And we pasted out my TV show postcards and my business cards. We love promoting and talking to people about what the future holds for me.

Today my Dad took me to the Old Brick Road, aka Old Dixie Highway in Espanola, FL. This lightly traveled brick road is one of the few remaining sections of the historic Dixie Highway that was built in 1915. This segment was part of a road designed to connect Jacksonville with the area around Flagler Beach east of Bunnell. The Dixie Highway was a system that connected Chicago to Miami. Most of the brick road is covered with sand which is pretty thick in a lot of spots. The road is only 9 feet wide and very creepy looking. Driving this 9 mile section at night is not for the faint of heart. I'm glad my Dad took me there during the day.

Well we just got home a little bit ago, I ate, wrote this post, now I think it's nap time.

Make sure to check out my Facebook and Instagram pages for pictures!

I hope you all had a great weekend. Until the next post, have a great night!

Love P!!!
