Is there a better way to help celebrate the one year anniversary of Coquina Coast Brewing Company in Flagler Beach, FL then a rock concert? I think not. And it was my first time attending a concert! My Dad, a couple friends of ours and I sat outside in the parking lot of the Coquina Coast Brewing Company which is 3 blocks away from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean listening to the Matt O'Ree Band.
The Matt O'Ree Band is from New Jersey and currently on tour. They are playing several gigs here in Florida, including a show for Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach, FL this week They played some cover songs and even some of their own music. All of which was really good!
I asked my Dad if I could meet the band and get my picture with them. So we went to talk to the Merchandise Manager who was a very nice young lady. We told her about me being in a couple TV shows being filmed here in Flagler Beach and also that I am going to be an author of children's books. She was so excited to meet me and of course I was of her too!
After the show not only did I get to hang out with the band, but I got my picture taken with them. I handed them all my TV show business cards and my personal business cards. They where so surprised and excited to meet a TV dog. Maybe even a little starstruck, but truth be told I was the one starstuck. Many thanks go out to the Matt O'Ree Band! You guys are amazing!
