Backseat to Justice is a Film Noir feature based on the novel by Flagler Beach author Tim Baker. The story follows private investigator Steve Salem as a routine case takes a deadly turn, launching him into a mystery filled with action, suspense and unexpected twists.
I play myself — Penelope Anne, the service dog of Ralph Donabedian. What makes this role especially fun for me is that I'm not playing a fictional dog with a different name. I'm actually credited as Penelope Anne.
Being part of Backseat to Justice gave me the opportunity to take the confidence and experience I've gained out in the real world and bring it onto a film set — working around actors, crew, cameras and all the activity that comes with a production.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS

Supernatural Crime Thriller
Unfinished Business is a supernatural crime thriller based on the novel of the same name by Flagler Beach author Tim Baker.
The story follows a mortician who, through an unexplained phenomenon, finds herself compelled to fulfill the final thoughts of the deceased — taking her on a journey filled with intrigue, confusion, danger and murder.
I play Anubis, the mortician's dog. Unlike my role in Backseat to Justice, where I play myself, this time I step into a character of my own and become part of the supernatural world surrounding the story.

I had the opportunity to put the toys to the test myself — bringing my own energy, reactions and personality to the commercial while showing the product in action.
And when you're working with a product made for dogs, there's really only one way to know if it works: play with it.
BEST WESTERN PLUS FLAGLER BEACH AREA INN & SUITES

I had the opportunity to appear in a commercial for the Best Western Plus Flagler Beach Area Inn & Suites in my hometown of Palm Coast, Florida.
For a traveling girl like me, one of the things that makes a hotel stand out is being welcomed right alongside Dad. This Best Western Plus is dog friendly, making it a place where four-legged travelers can be part of the adventure too.
The commercial gave me another chance to work in front of the camera in a real-world setting — taking direction, working around a production crew and, of course, bringing a little Penelope personality to the shoot.

I had the opportunity to create a product video featuring one of their travel maps — something that was a natural fit for me considering how much of my life has been spent exploring the country with Dad.
The finished map brings those adventures together in one place, turning years of travel and memories into something we can keep adding to as the journey continues.

GREENWOOD HEATING AND HOME SERVICES

I had the opportunity to appear in a commercial for Greenwood Heating and Home Services, a company serving the Puget Sound area with heating, cooling and home comfort services.
This shoot gave me another chance to work on a professional commercial set — following direction, working with the production crew and cameras, and bringing my own natural reactions and personality to the scene.
The commercial was filmed and produced by Litewave Media, a full-service video production company based in the Tampa Bay area. Working with an experienced production team gave me another opportunity to build on my experience in front of the camera and show that I can be comfortable and natural in a professional production environment.
BEACH PARTY (IT'S A GAS)

Music Video
The Cherry Drops bring a retro-inspired mix of power pop, harmonies and the sounds of the '60s and '70s to their music. “Beach Party (It's A Gas)” carries that same throwback energy into a music video built around sunshine, music and a day at the beach.
Dad and I both had the opportunity to appear as extras in the video, making this my first music video production. We spent the day filming alongside the band, the production crew and the other extras — and had an amazing time being part of it.
It was a completely different experience from my film and commercial work, but once again I found myself right where I seem to belong: in front of a camera, surrounded by people, and experiencing something new with Dad by my side.
DOWG ESSENTIALS

Pet Product Modeling | Fun in the Sun Grooming Show
My work hasn't been limited to film and video. I also had the opportunity to model for DOWG Essentials, a line of vegan pet shampoo and conditioner products, at the Fun in the Sun Grooming Show.
My first appearance with DOWG Essentials was at the show in Orlando, FL in 2023, where I modeled their products in the middle of a busy professional grooming event. In 2024, they invited Dad and me to join them again in Las Vegas, NV, but we already had a prior commitment in Vermont and weren't able to attend. Then in 2025, they invited me back for another appearance, this time at the Fun in the Sun Grooming Show in Jacksonville, FL.
Two different cities, two different events — and an invitation to a third — with people, dogs, exhibitors and plenty of activity happening all around me. It was another opportunity to take the confidence and experience I've gained traveling with Dad and bring it into a professional environment.
And these weren't products I only modeled with — they're products Dad actually used on me. DOWG Essentials shampoo and conditioner helped keep my red coat clean, shiny and ready for everything from everyday adventures to time in front of the camera.
Sometimes, the best way to show what a product can do is simply to let the results speak for themselves.
